Job summary

The RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR Division. You will operate a fully equipped RAC van, handling pre-booked jobs across Esher and nearby areas, performing planned servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs, with no reactive callouts.

You will follow a clear digital schedule, work 40 hours a week with some Saturdays, use advanced diagnostic gear, and have opportunities for development toward industry accreditation in a supportive national organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
