Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the UK. You’ll work a 40-hour week, pre-booked servicing and diagnostics on site at customers’ driveways or workplaces, using advanced mobile equipment and a fully equipped RAC van.

The role offers a base salary of £40,178 with OT and on-target earnings up to £52,000, 1 in 4 Saturdays, and a suite of benefits including pension, holiday entitlement, and a car salary sacrifice option after 12 months.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.

Education
