Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR Division. You will work on planned, mobile servicing with a fully equipped RAC van, diagnostic tools, and advanced equipment.

Earn £40,178 base with OTE up to £52,000 and optional overtime, on a 40-hour week with Saturday commitments. Expect structured days with pre-booked jobs, clear schedules via RAC's platform, and generous benefits including pension, life cover, and flexible perks.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations after inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks in line with RAC standards.
