Job summary

RAC is expanding its SMR division with Mobile Vehicle Technicians. You will perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and in‑depth repairs at members’ locations, guided by a pre-booked schedule.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and diagnostics on-site at members' locations.
• Perform in-depth repairs normally done in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations after inspection.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
