RAC is seeking a Mobile Technician for the SMR division to perform planned servicing and diagnostics on members' vehicles across the Daventry area. You will work on a pre-booked schedule with a fully equipped RAC van, and you will be supported to deliver high-quality repairs with safety checks to RAC standards.

The role offers a base salary of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, plus overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine servicing and diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• Carry out in-depth repairs normally done in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations after inspection.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks to RAC standards.
• Work on a pre-booked schedule with no reactive callouts.

Connaissances

5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Tech

Full UK driving licence <6 points
