Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the SMR division to perform planned servicing, diagnostics and repairs for members on-site at their driveways or workplaces. You will work from a pre-booked schedule across Esher cluster and surrounding areas.

You will use advanced mobile diagnostics, carry out in-depth repairs, and provide member advice, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
