Job summary

RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its SMR division. You will perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs on members' vehicles directly at driveways or workplaces, ensuring quality and safety standards.

You will carry out diagnostics with advanced mobile equipment and provide clear recommendations to members, while benefiting from a structured, pre-booked schedule and a comprehensive toolset.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with under 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and diagnostics on vehicles.
• Perform in-depth repairs and safety checks in mobile settings.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
