Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for the SMR Division. You will perform planned maintenance and diagnostics on customer vehicles, delivering on-road repairs with the support of advanced mobile equipment.

Work involves scheduled appointments across Esher cluster areas, with a standard 40-hour week and some Saturdays. A customer-focused approach and strong vehicle knowledge are essential for high-quality service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks.
