Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the UK. You will perform planned servicing and diagnostics on customers' vehicles at their driveways or workplaces, with a clearly scheduled list of pre-booked jobs.

Daily work is structured with no emergency callouts, offering stability and the chance to develop EV and diagnostic skills within a trusted national organisation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in light vehicle maintenance or 5+ years as a vehicle technician.
• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you would usually complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations from inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks to RAC standards.
