Job summary

Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division - a new era of mobile repair. The role offers a base salary of £40,178, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000, 40 hours per week, core hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

You’ll work through a scheduled list of jobs with a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set and advanced diagnostics. From day one you’ll have everything you need and will use your technical ability to get people moving again

Qualifications

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Work through a scheduled list of jobs with time, tools and support.
• Perform planned maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to vehicles.
• Operate with a fully equipped RAC van and use provided diagnostics.
