Job summary

RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for the Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division. You will work on a planned schedule, servicing and repairing vehicles at members' driveways or sites with a fully equipped RAC van, diagnostics, and safety checks.

You will operate in the Wembley cluster area with a fixed schedule, no emergency callouts, and a structured workflow. A full UK driving licence with clean record is required, plus 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience with NVQ2 or

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs normally completed in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
