Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our SMR Division in the UK. You’ll work on a pre-booked schedule, performing routine servicing, diagnostics with mobile equipment, and in-depth repairs for members at their driveways and workplaces.

You’ll be part of a structured, non-emergency operation with clear plans and the support of a fully equipped RAC van. Successful candidates will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (or 5+ years’ experience), a full

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• Routine servicing
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
