Job summary

The RAC is seeking Mobile Vehicle Technicians for its SMR division across East England. You will perform planned servicing, diagnostics with advanced mobile equipment, and in-depth repairs at members' driveways or car parks. You will advise members and ensure RAC standards and safety checks are applied.

Expect a full-time 40-hour week with some Saturdays; a fully equipped RAC van and tools are provided, plus overtime options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Diagnostics experience with mobile equipment.
• Vehicle servicing and repairs on-site at member locations.
• Ability to provide advice and recommendations after inspection.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and diagnostics for members.
• Perform in-depth repairs as needed in a mobile setting.
• Provide clear safety checks and RAC-standard reporting.
