Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is expanding its SMR division to deliver planned maintenance and repairs directly to members at driveways and car parks across the UK. This mobile role provides a fully equipped RAC van, uniform, tools and diagnostic support, with a clear digital schedule and pre-booked jobs.

You’ll perform routine servicing, diagnostics with advanced mobile equipment, in-depth repairs, and provide member advice.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing on customers' vehicles.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
