Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to perform servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations. The role involves home or worksite visits within the London area, with a standard 40-hour week and one Saturday per month.

Overtime and a generous bonus structure enhance earnings. Typical pay ranges include a base salary (£45,378) with potential earnings exceeding £57,000 including overtime and bonuses.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a minimum Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 qualification.
• Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with max 6 points.

Aufgaben

• Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at customer locations (driveway, office car park, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems including engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Communicate with customers about issues and repair recommendations.
• Handle payments through card transactions.
• Keep up to date with automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
