Octane Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for a permanent, full-time role based in the United Kingdom. You will service and repair vehicles at customers’ homes or workplaces, including EVs, with a 40-hour week and Saturday rotation.

OTE over £52,000, with base pay around £40,170 prior to bonuses. Benefits include an enhanced pension, life insurance, career progression, a car salary sacrifice option, and free household breakdown cover.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a minimum Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Must have a full UK driving licence – max 6 points, no bans.

Aufgaben

• Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at the customer’s selected location, e.g. driveway or office car park.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Payment handling through card transactions.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
