Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair vehicles at customers' homes or workplaces across the UK. You will work a standard 40‑hour week from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays and overtime paid at £30 per hour.

Role offers a permanent, full‑time position with benefits including a pension, life cover, and career progression opportunities. Candidates must have Level 2/3 qualification and a valid UK driving licence.

Formación

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair, or Level 3 equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification hands‑on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with max 6 points, no bans.

Responsabilidades

• Service and repair vehicles at customers' locations (including EVs).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections).
• Diagnose and repair issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic tools/software to identify and resolve problems.
• Communicate vehicle issues and repair recommendations to customers.
• Process payments via card transactions.
• Keep records of work performed and parts used.
