Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair vehicles at customers' homes or workplaces. The role is full-time, home-based, 40 hours weekly, with occasional Saturdays and overtime paid at enhanced rates. A Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) qualification and a valid UK licence are required.

EV experience is a plus. The position offers progression and training within a national breakdown service.*

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair (Level 3 preferred).
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence – max 6 points, no bans.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at the customer's chosen location (including EVs).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical issues.
