Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vehicles at customer locations across the UK. The role is home-based, 40 hours per week, with shifts from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair (or Level 3 preferred).
• Minimum 2-year post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at customer locations (driveways, offices).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, tires, brakes).
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Handle payments via card transactions.
• Keep records of work and parts used.
