Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician, covering areas like Exeter and surrounding towns. You’ll operate from home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and diagnostic kit provided, delivering roadside repairs with a focus on fast, customer‑facing service.

Required are a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years as a vehicle technician/mechanic, plus a full UK licence with under 6 points. Exmouth to Torquay are within your patch.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Assist customers and get members back on the road quickly with confident repairs.
