Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end your day at home, delivering fast, confident solutions and outstanding member service.

Qualified with Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, plus 2+ years’ experience, and a full UK driving licence. RAC provides a van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit to set you up for success.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside.
• You’ll be provided with your own RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit.
