Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start and finish your day at home, operating from your own RAC van with full tooling and diagnostic kit provided.

Join a team delivering quick, confident solutions with outstanding member service, leveraging your Level 2 qualification and 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles at roadside

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics across the UK
• Provide emergency breakdown support to RAC members
• Start and end your day at home with RAC van and equipment

Vehicle Technician experience
