Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician for the Exeter cluster, covering areas like Exeter, Exmouth, Sidmouth and beyond. You will deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, combining technical skill with excellent member service.

You start and end your day at home, work around 40 hours per week with demand-led shifts and optional overtime. You’ll receive a base salary of £36,400 and a realistic OTE of £60,000, with a van, fuel card,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' roadside repair experience.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics to restore vehicle operation.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish shifts from home, travelling to members in your local area.
