Job summary

Horizon Parking Ltd is seeking a reliable Mobile Patrol Officer to cover Andover and surrounding areas. The role involves 40 hours per week over five days, with weekend work likely, and duties including patrolling car parks, monitoring facilities, and enforcing parking rules. Responsibilities

• Travel to and from allocated sites within visit cycles.
• Patrol and monitor car parks, keeping areas tidy and professional.
• Issue Parking Charge Notices as required, following signage and terms.
• Check parking equipment for proper operation and report faults.
• Restock machines and perform minor repairs/maintenance.
• Maintain accessibility and assist site users.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with stakeholders.
• Follow health and safety policies and perform other tasks as needed.

What are we looking for?

• A reliable and trustworthy Mobile Patrol Officer, to work in Andover & its surrounding areas
• 40 hours per week, spread out over any 5 days of the week (will include some weekend working)
• A qualified driver who must be able to meet the Highway Code eyesight test requirements. Candidates must be able to read a vehicle number plate from a distance of 20 metres (65 feet) in good daylight, as stipulated by UK legislation. This is to ensure that all our drivers can perform their duties safely and in compliance with legal standards.

What will we expect in return?

• Travel to and from allocated sites within visit cycles provided, and/or as required.
• Patrol and monitor car parks, ensuring the car park is tidy and clean at all times.
• Maintain a professional image when dealing with third parties.
• Issue Parking Charge Notices as and when required, in line with the contraventions set out in the terms and conditions signage within the car park.
• Check if parking equipment is in working order.
• Restock machines with tickets, undertake minor repairs and maintenance of machines and report any faults to the Line Manager.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replenishment of consumables within payment and validation kiosks.
• Improve accessibility for all site users.
• Management of abuse of parking facilities.
• Provide excellent customer services and assist customers as and when required.
• Carry out duties in line with company health and safety policies and follow safe working practices.
• Carry out any other tasks and instructions as and when required.
