Co‑op Funeralcare is seeking a Mobile Funeral Arranger to support families across eight East Glasgow branches. The role involves travel, arranging visits and handling funeral logistics with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Comfort with handling the deceased and manual tasks.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Numeracy for cash handling, discounts and invoicing.
• Empathy, discretion and care when supporting families.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet clients and build relationships across eight branches in East Glasgow.
• Support clients in person and by phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep funeral home areas clean, safe and welcoming; report maintenance issues as needed.
• Use digital systems to manage client records, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work (funeral plans) to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team.
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and care of the deceased during preparation.
• Update client management applications with accurate information in a timely manner.
