Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is hiring a Mobile Funeral Arranger to serve West Central Scotland (Paisley, Renfrew, Johnstone, Barrhead, Erskine). The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a salary of £26,266 per year and benefits.

A full UK driving licence is required, and training is provided to cover all duties including handling and arranging funeral services. You will meet clients, coordinate visits, manage documentation and ensure a respectful, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work confidently on your own—travelling to clients or managing a branch when needed.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet clients and build relationships within the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe and welcoming, reporting maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work, like selling funeral plans, to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team.
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and care of the deceased.
• Update client management applications with accurate information.
