Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is seeking a Mobile Funeral Arranger to serve Aberdeen City, Stonehaven and Ellon. This full-time role involves travelling to meet clients, arranging family visits and delivering compassionate support with professionalism and dignity.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Comfort with handling the deceased and sensitive duties.
• Full training will be provided.
• Willingness to travel across Aberdeen City, Stonehaven and Ellon.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Adherence to health and safety standards and regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet clients and build positive community relationships.
• Support clients in person and over the phone; arrange family visits and answer questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming; report maintenance issues as needed.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work about funeral plans to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team.
• Assist in manual handling of coffins and care/prep of the deceased for viewing.
• Update client management apps with accurate, timely information.
