Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is seeking a Mobile Funeral Arranger to support families across Forfar and surrounding areas. The role involves coordinating visits, arranging services, and ensuring respectful handling of arrangements and documentation.

Training will be provided, and you’ll be part of a team that values care and professionalism. The position is part-time, offering a competitive hourly rate and a benefits package, with emphasis on compassionate service and adherence to health and safety

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Numerical ability for cash handling, discounts and invoicing.
• Attention to detail to follow regulatory processes.
• Proficient with IT systems and devices used for client records.
• Empathy, discretion and caring approach essential for handling the deceased.
• Able to perform physical tasks including moving coffins with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet clients and build relationships within the community.
• Assist clients in person and by phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documents, arrangements and invoicing.
