Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic electrical maintenance engineer to join a mobile team serving Thames Water sites. You will inspect, test, and maintain LV distribution systems, UPS, and associated equipment, ensuring safety and compliance across multiple projects.

You will work to RAMS, coordinate with clients, and support on-call duties. A post-apprenticeship track record in a regulated environment and City & Guilds 2360/18th Edition qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ & C&G 2382-10 18th Edition.
• C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing preferred or in progress.
• C&G 2391-20 Design & Verification preferred.
• Thames Water Passport – gain and maintain.
• Authorised Person – Low Voltage & Confined Spaces – desirable.

Responsibilities

• Isolates defective equipment from power supply and conducts fault checks.
• Conducts preventative maintenance on machines and equipment for smooth operation.
• installs electrical systems with proper certification and handover.
• Review RAMS and ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures.
• Coordinate with clients and suppliers across multiple Thames Water sites.
