Job summary

Unify is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our water industry infrastructure delivery team. You will maintain, install, test and repair electrical systems across treatment works, pumping stations and network assets, delivering safe, reliable operation.

The role suits hands-on technicians with fault-finding skills, knowledge of BS 7671, and the ability to read drawings. NVQ Level 3, AM2 and ECS Gold Card are required, with flexibility to travel across sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience within water or similar regulated sectors.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across water sector facilities.
• Installing and terminating power, control, and instrumentation cabling.
• Building and maintaining containment systems.
• Conducting inspection and testing in line with BS 7671.
• Diagnosing faults on motors, pumps, control panels, and associated equipment.
• Completing accurate documentation, test certificates, and maintenance records.
• Working safely and following all relevant procedures and standard.

We're looking for a skilled Electrician to help maintain, install, test, and repair electrical systems across operational sites such as treatment works, pumping stations, and wider network infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

• Strong fault‑finding skills and solid understanding of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexible approach to travel and working hour
