This role is for a leading facilities management provider seeking an experienced and proactive Mobile Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. You will oversee a small team of mobile engineers and ensure the delivery of electrical maintenance services to a portfolio of commercial office spaces along the M3 corridor. You will act as the technical point of contact for clients and engineers, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed to high safety and efficiency standards.
Supervising and supporting a team of mobile maintenance electricians, managing workloads and scheduling both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
Providing technical guidance and hands-on support to the engineering team.
Ensuring all work is carried out in strict compliance with current health and safety regulations and BS 7671.
Acting as the main point of contact for clients on-site, building strong professional relationships and managing expectations.
Conducting quality assurance checks, auditing workmanship, and delivering toolbox talks.
Diagnosing and rectifying a wide range of electrical faults in commercial installations, including power, lighting, emergency lighting, and basic HVAC controls.
Completing all necessary job reports, certification, and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and proven leadership skills. You must have:
Essential Qualifications: City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent.
Essential Qualifications: City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Highly Desirable Qualifications: City & Guilds 2391 in Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
Highly Desirable Qualifications: An IOSH or similar health and safety qualification.
Experience: Proven experience working as an electrician in a commercial maintenance environment.
Experience: Demonstrable experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
Experience: Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience: A strong understanding of PPM schedules and CAFM systems.
Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attributes: A professional and client-focused attitude.
Attributes: A full UK Driving Licence.
