Job summary
James Lewis Recruitment is seeking a mobile Electrician / Electrical Engineer to cover nationwide retail and hospitality projects across the UK. You will perform electrical installation works on fast-track fit-outs, refurbishments and live trading environments, with a strong earning potential and a clear path for career progression.
A van, fuel card and private medical cover are provided, with pension, life insurance and paid holidays.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Gold Card (ECS or CSCS).
- Qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer with solid installation experience.
- Retail fit-out experience is advantageous on fast-track projects, rollouts or refurbishments.
- Testing/inspection qualifications (e.g., 2391, 2394/2395) are useful but not essential.
- Comfortable with travelling to different sites and staying away occasionally.
- Experience across lighting, power, containment, distribution and fit-out installation is highly relevant.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation works across retail, hospitality and commercial fit-out projects.
- Work on fast-track refurbishments, rollouts, small works and planned installation schemes.
- Install containment, cabling, lighting, power and distribution and related electrical systems.
- Support testing, inspection, snagging, remedials and handover where required.
- Read drawings and site information to deliver installations correctly.
- Travel to projects across the UK when required; stay away when project demand calls for it.
