Job summary

James Lewis Recruitment is seeking a mobile Electrician / Electrical Engineer for nationwide retail fit-out and commercial projects. The role covers electrical installation across retail and hospitality sites, with travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays.

You’ll work to a high standard, with strong earning potential (£24.85/hour with a range up to £96,400 annually). The package includes a van, fuel card, BUPA medical, life insurance, pension and 25 days holiday, with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• You must hold a valid Gold Card (ECS or CSCS).
• You’ll be a qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer with strong installation experience.
• Retail fit-out or fast-track project experience is ideal.
• Testing/inspection knowledge (2391/2394/2395) is useful but not essential.
• Must be able to travel and work across multiple sites in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works across retail, hospitality and commercial sites.
• Work on fast-track refurbishments, rollouts and live trading environments.
• Install containment, cabling, lighting, power and distribution.
• Support testing, inspection, snagging and handover.
• Read drawings and site information to deliver installations correctly.
• Travel to projects UK-wide and stay away when required.
