Job summary

James Lewis Recruitment seeks a Mobile Electrician / Electrical Engineer for nationwide retail and hospitality projects. Expect 37.5 hours weekly with periods of higher hours, earning £62,500–£96,400 annually before tax based on 50–80 hours per week. Includes van, fuel card, BUPA, life insurance and pension.

The role involves travel across the UK, staying away when required, and delivering fast-track fit-outs and installations with a professional, safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer with strong installation experience.
• Retail fit-out experience is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to travel nationally and stay away occasionally when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works across retail, hospitality and commercial fit-out projects.
• Work on fast-track refurbishments, rollouts, small works and planned installation schemes.
• Install containment, cabling, lighting, power, distribution and related systems.
• Support testing, inspection, snagging, remedials and handover where required.
• Read drawings and site information to deliver installations accurately.
