James Lewis Recruitment is seeking a mobile Electrician / Electrical Engineer for nationwide retail fit-out projects. You will perform electrical installations, including lighting, power and distribution, across retail and commercial sites, with travel within the UK and occasional longer stays.

You’ll join a roving role with robust earning potential, a guaranteed 37.5 hours with overtime common, and benefits such as a van, fuel card, private medical cover, life insurance, pension and generous

Qualifikationen

• Gold Card (ECS or CSCS) required.
• Qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer with installation experience.
• Retail fit-out experience preferred (fast-track projects).
• Testing and inspection qualifications useful (2391/2394/2395) but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Carrying out electrical installation works across retail, hospitality and commercial fit-out projects.
• Working on fast-track refurbishments, rollouts, small works and planned installation schemes.
• Installing containment, cabling, lighting, power, distribution, accessories and associated electrical systems.
• Supporting testing, inspection, snagging, remedials and handover where required.
• Reading drawings, site information and work instructions to deliver installations correctly.
• Working safely in live or fast-moving retail environments.
• Liaising with site managers, project managers, client representatives and other trades.
• Keeping accurate records of works completed, materials used, issues raised and any follow-on requirements.
• Travelling to projects across the UK when required, usually within an hour of home location.
• Staying away when the project requires it, usually for short periods.
• Representing the business professionally on client sites and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
