Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR has an opening for a mobile Electrician or Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical installations across retail and commercial sites in the United Kingdom. The role is roving, with travel to projects nationwide and home-based patterns when possible.
You will be responsible for installation work, testing and handover, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. A van, fuel card, private medical cover, life insurance, pension and 25 days’ holiday are provided.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Gold Card (ECS/CSCS)
- Qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer with installation experience
- Retail fit-out/refurbishment/live trading environment experience is advantageous
- Testing/inspection (2391/2394/2395 or equivalent) useful but not essential
- Willing to travel nationally and stay away occasionally
- Full UK driving licence required
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation works across retail, hospitality and commercial fit-out projects.
- Engage in fast-track refurbishments, rollouts, small works and planned installation schemes.
- Install containment, cabling, lighting, power and distribution systems.
- Support testing, inspection, snagging, remedials and handover.
- Read drawings and site information to deliver installations correctly.
- Work safely in live or fast-moving retail environments.
- Liaise with site managers, project managers and clients.
- Travel to projects across the UK when required; stay-away when needed.
