Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is recruiting a Peripatetic Home Services Advisor to support Elm Bank Care Home and Brampton View Care Home. The role combines sales and community engagement to increase occupancy, with regular travel between sites across the division.

The position offers a competitive salary (£40k) plus commission and a generous car allowance, with opportunities to develop within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Track record in sales and marketing, preferably in a care home setting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to present to individuals and groups.
• Experience building relationships within a local community.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Represent Barchester and our state of the art homes in a friendly and professional manner.
• Responsible for all sales activity for a number of care homes.
• Talking to potential new residents over the phone, and providing informative and welcoming tours of the homes.
• Engage with residents and relatives to understand their experience and requirements.
• Respond to sales enquiries.
• Actively generate leads and identify local marketing opportunities.
• Maintain a contacts database.
