Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities maintenance company. You will work across commercial contracts around the M3/M4 corridor, performing small installations and planned/reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and F-Gas Certificate (Category 1)
• Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and installing air conditioning systems
• Strong knowledge of VRF systems, chillers, and heat pump technology

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis on systems such as VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, and heat pumps.
• Install new air conditioning units and associated equipment in line with project specifications and health & safety regulations.
• Complete site surveys and provide technical recommendations for upgrades or replacements where necessary.
• Ensure all works are completed efficiently, on time, and to a high standard with minimal disruption to the client.
• Accurately complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance paperwork for all site visits.
• Liaise directly with clients, site managers, and office staff to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times, including the correct use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.
• Stay up to date with industry standards, product developments, and compliance regulations.
