Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to cover a regional patch from Northamptonshire to Leicester and Coventry. The role focuses on maintenance, service, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintaining, servicing and repairing air conditioning systems.
• F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot air conditioning systems (split, VRV/VRF, chillers).
• Perform regular maintenance (coils cleaning, filters replacement).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults to minimize downtime.
• Inspect HVAC systems and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance/contractors for complex repairs and upgrades.

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Northamptonshire - Global Facilities Management Organisation

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client's team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.

This is a mobile role, covering a regional patch from Northampton across to Leicester and Coventry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
• Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
• Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
• Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
