Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to service commercial sites in the Surrey area on a van-based mobile role.

The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds Level 2 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration and F-Gas qualifications, with proven experience across split systems, VRVs/VRFs, AHUs/FCUs and chillers. Excellent fault-finding skills and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration qualification or equivalent
• F-Gas qualification - Essential
• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial AC/HVAC systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good building services knowledge and multi-skilled maintenance approach

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Servicing and maintaining split systems, VRVs, VRFs and VAVs
• Maintenance of AHUs and FCUs
• Servicing and maintaining chillers and associated HVAC plant
• Carrying out fault finding and diagnosing AC and refrigeration issues
• Completing pressure and leak testing
• Carrying out compressor changes
• Liaising with clients and site teams
• Ensuring works are completed safely per procedures
• Maintaining service records and reports

Education

Mobile AC Engineer - FM Service Provider - Surrey Area - Van Mobile - Up to £48,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites throughout the Surrey area.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance, with experience working across commercial buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AC Engineer looking for a stable mobile position with further training and progression available.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 17:00
• Overtime available

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Servicing and maintaining split systems, VRVs, VRFs and VAV systems.
• Maintenance of AHUs and FCUs.
• Servicing and maintaining chillers and associated HVAC plant.
• Carrying out fault finding and diagnosing AC and refrigeration issues.
• Completing pressure and leak testing.
• Carrying out compressor changes.
• Brazing and associated refrigeration repairs.
• Responding to reactive breakdowns and equipment faults.
• Carrying out basic electrical fault finding where required.
• Completing maintenance records and service reports.
• Liaising with clients and site teams.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 2 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration qualification or equivalent
• F-Gas qualification - Essential
• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial AC and HVAC systems.
• Previous commercial building maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
• Good overall building services knowledge.
• Multi-skilled approach to maintenance.
• Must be able to provide copies of relevant trade certificates.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
