Job summary

Equans is hiring a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer for the Bellshill, ML4 3NJ area. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week). You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on site, update CAFM in real time, and manage subcontractors.

Occasional out-of-hours work and on-call shifts are required to meet maintenance commitments. We offer a competitive salary and a broad benefits package including leave, life cover, discounts, gym memberships, and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

  • FGas certification is essential.
  • Trade qualified AC Engineer with post-apprenticeship experience desirable.
  • Full clean driving licence required.
  • Computer literacy and good communication skills are expected.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive tasks as per maintenance spec and document in real time.
  • Update CAFM system with details of works and follow-on actions.
  • Supervise and monitor subcontractors on site.
  • Attend sites for breakdowns outside normal hours and participate in on-call rota.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the contract manager.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week.
