Job summary

Equans is seeking a Site Manager to join the Leeds team on a permanent basis. This full-time role (40 hours/week) focuses on warm homes decarbonisation and traditional refurbishment projects, offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and benefits.

You will coordinate repairs and maintenance, oversee the site team with the Delivery Manager, monitor repairs, and ensure KPIs and regulatory standards are met. Strong client relationships and proactive issue resolution are essential.

Qualifications

  • NVQ4 or equivalent qualification in maintenance.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card).
  • First Aid certification and relevant health and safety qualifications.
  • Proven experience in a site supervisor or manager role within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing subcontractors and site operatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with experience in resolving complex on-site issues.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and ensure delivery of repairs and maintenance.
  • Oversee the site team in conjunction with the Delivery Manager.
  • Monitor daily repairs and progress to meet KPIs and regulations.
  • Order materials and track progress of repairs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; ensure clear communication.
  • Address concerns promptly and escalate issues to Delivery Manager when needed.
  • Apply knowledge of construction methods to measure components and installations.
