Equans is seeking a Mobile Plumber to join our team on the North Lanarkshire Schools contract, based from Bellshill, ML4 3NJ. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week and offers a competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package.

You will deliver reactive response, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance across school facilities, working with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship in engineering discipline.
  • Experience in planned preventative maintenance and reactive response work.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to read plans and method statements.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out first-fix reactive response and rectification works, including fault-finding and resolution.
  • Provide second-fix reactive support and technical advice to colleagues.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance works in line with contractual requirements.
  • Identify and rectify faults while ensuring compliance with legislation and procedures.
  • Plan, prioritise and resource workloads to meet service levels.
  • Install, commission and service plant and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week.
