E-ppl Ltd is seeking a Military Mechanic for a 6-month contract at Donnington, near Telford. You will service, inspect, and repair military fleet platforms on-site, with full workshop tooling supplied. The role supports MEIs and upgrades while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications required: NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 or Military Trade Proficiency Certificates.

• Experience in military, defence, or commercial vehicle environments.

Responsabilités

• Carry out systematic mechanical servicing, inspections, and repairs.
• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections (MEIs).
• Perform reworks, equipment upgrades, and defect resolution.
• Ensure strict adherence to H&S and workshop standards.

Military Mechanic | Outside IR35 Contract

Location: Donnington, Telford, Shropshire

Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)

• Total Hourly Earnings: £22.00/hr total (£17.00 base + £5.00/hr living allowance for the project duration).
• Weekly Pay: Reliable, prompt weekly payments.
• Overtime Available: Boost your weekly earnings with extra hours.
• All Tools Provided: Full workshop tooling provided on-site - just bring your boots and coveralls.

Join E-ppl Ltd on a major fleet maintenance project based at Donnington. Working in a supportive team environment, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operational readiness of military fleet platforms.

Location & Commute

Situated in Donnington (Telford) with fast transport links via the M54, A442, and A5. Ideal for engineers based in Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Cannock, and Stafford.

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must provide proof of one of the following:

• Trade Qualifications: Proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 (or Military Trade Proficiency Certificates - e.g., REME Vehicle Mechanic Class 1/2, Armourer Class 1/2, or RAF/RN equivalent).
• Security Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Clearance (fully sponsored and managed by E-ppl).
• Experience: Mechanical trade experience within military, defence, or commercial vehicle environments.
