Job summary

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a Mechanic for a 6-month outside IR35 contract in Warminster. You’ll maintain and repair stored and sustainment fleet platforms, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Overtime is available and weekly pay applies.

The role offers travel & subsistence perks, including fully paid hotel stays, daily allowances, mileage payments, and on-site tools. Prior fleet/mechanical experience and BPSS eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent IMI/City & Guilds).
• Proven experience as a Mechanic in fleet or commercial contexts.
• BPSS security clearance eligibility (fully sponsored by employer).

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, servicing and repairs on designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades and reworks; address defects from quality checks.
• Adhere strictly to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Location: Warminster, Wiltshire (BA12 0BS)

Pay: £19.00/hr Base Rate (Paid Weekly) + Overtime Available

Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Shift: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd as a Mechanic on a critical fleet maintenance project in Warminster, working alongside a skilled, supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Mechanic (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
