Are you a Mig Welder looking for a new opportunity? Advanced Resourcing is a forward-thinking recruitment agency dedicated to connecting skill with opportunity across the Midlands and Shropshire. We are currently working with a leading steel manufacturing company based in Dudley, who are expanding their team and seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join their night shift.

Duties
  • MIG welder structural mild steel.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials using appropriate tools.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure structural integrity and adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the assembly of finished products, ensuring precision and accuracy throughout the process.
Experience
  • Proven experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Strong understanding of structural work and basic mechanical principles.
  • Experience with assembly processes and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and quality standards in previous roles.
The Package
  • 12 week temp to perm contract
  • £16,50 inclusive of shift allowance
  • Working hours 6pm to 5:30am Monday to Thursday
