Job summary

Last Mile seeks a Business Development Manager to build and manage relationships with housebuilders, master developers and consultants across the Midlands. You will identify decisions, shape proposals across technical and commercial teams, and drive opportunities from contact through to contract.

You will travel across the Midlands, conduct site visits, and collaborate with design and estimating teams to secure new assets and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Track record of winning new business from a standing start.
• Experience in a complex B2B sale with several decision makers and a technical element.
• Willingness to travel across the region with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a targeted list of housebuilders, master developers and consultants.
• Research, call, visit and network with key decision makers and influencers across technical, commercial, buying, land and regional leadership teams.
• Monitor land and planning activity, engage customers early and provide budgets at feasibility stage.
• Qualify enquiries and lead bids from brief through to proposal with design and estimating teams.
• Present and negotiate offers, manage objections and requote, secure contracts and handover to delivery.
• Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunities and forecasts in simPRO.
