About us Twiss Green Community Primary School is a warm and welcoming primary school dedicated to providing a safe and happy environment for our children to learn and grow. We are looking for a reliable and friendly Midday Assistant to join our supportive team.

Role

As a Midday Assistant, you will play a vital role in supervising children during lunch breaks, ensuring their safety, well-being, and good behaviour. Your contribution helps create a positive lunchtime experience for our pupils.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising children in the dining hall and playground during lunch breaks
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and ensuring safety at all times
  • Assisting children with any needs during lunchtime
  • Supporting staff with maintaining a clean and orderly environment
Qualifications and qualities
  • Enjoys working with children and has a caring nature
  • Is patient, reliable, and approachable
  • Can work well as part of a team
  • Has good communication skills
  • Is willing to undertake any necessary training
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
