Job summary

Howden Group Holdings is seeking an experienced Client Adviser to join our Reading team. You will build trusted relationships with mid-market and corporate clients, delivering exceptional service and supporting renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with Client Executives and insurer partners.

You will manage day-to-day client servicing, contribute to market negotiations, and work across the wider business to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting corporate or mid-market clients in commercial insurance.
• Strong technical knowledge across commercial insurance classes and complex programmes.
• Ability to build credibility and develop relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach in a growing business.
• Progress towards/completion of Dip CII is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with a portfolio of mid-market and corporate clients, delivering exceptional service.
• Work with Client Executives and insurer partners to develop renewal and placement strategies.
• Manage day-to-day client servicing, including queries, adjustments and renewals.
• Contribute to market exercises and negotiations for competitive insurance solutions.
• Collaborate across the wider business to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
• Help shape a high-performing, scalable servicing proposition.
