Partnering with a global Microsoft Security Solutions Partner and MISA Awards Finalist, building their Security Business Development and Account Management team in a new strategic direction.

This company is a Microsoft-first security business, also offering wider vendor services. They are a MISA member and award finalist, focusing on SMC and Enterprise sectors across various industries. They seek motivated Security BDMs with experience in cyber security sales, managed security, and/or professional services consulting, who can leverage Microsoft connections to advance their sales.

Requirements include:

  • Experience selling MXDR and security consulting/services
  • Ability to use tools and credibility provided by the company to succeed
  • Proven track record as a motivated, new logo security seller

Support structure includes presales, consulting allies, and customer-specific products.

Managed Security Services:

  • Managed XDR

Professional Services/Consulting:

  • Cloud Security, Defender for Cloud/Entra/Intune
  • Purview Compliance/Data Governance
  • Security Copilot
Responsibilities:
  • Grow business in new accounts
  • Build relationships with clients and Microsoft
  • Create/manage sales pipeline across security services and consulting
  • Maintain contact with existing clients
  • Track sales metrics
  • Understand customer security postures and identify opportunities
  • Advise customers on security services and solutions
Key Experience:
  • Full sales cycle including deal closing
  • Experience with Microsoft Managed and/or Professional Security Services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Security stack and other vendor licensing models
  • Solution discussion experience with customers
  • Meeting sales targets for security services
  • Experience selling MXDR/MDR services
  • Security solutions into new PS and/or MS customers
  • Experience with Microsoft or other security vendors
